Floating Head Poster Designs
I spotted the following video c/o Big Screen Little Screen earlier today on the subject of a troubled and talented designer specialising in floating head concepts for film posters. I think here at Soda we could use the help of such a talented designer to fill in the void of floating head posters we’ve utilised over the years.

Looking through our catalogue there are a few heads that come close to floating but if you can see shoulders I’m discounting them. But I can’t deny that our 2006 release Overcoming (see DVD cover above) definitely strayed in floating head territory. The poster and DVD cover floated a total of four heads and was also a very successful DVD release- maybe we should take more note of this!
