Synopsis

Set on the Parana Delta, El Turu is captain of a water bus that links the isolated communities of traditional reed cutters. One of the workers, Álvaro, is a quiet gay man whose love of books makes

him as much an outsider as his sexuality. It also makes him the perfect target for El Turu’s hostility This visually stunning feature debut perfectly captures the misty waterways and solitary lives of a Northern Argentinean community.
