Synopsis
Following his escape from his Nazi captors, who left him chained to a rock in a German Army uniform as a turkey shoot for Russian soldiers, a Finnish sniper struggles through no-man's-land
in an attempt to acquire the tools needed to remove his heavy shackles. His search takes him to a farm where a war widow, Anni, is also tending a wounded Soviet deserter.
